St Mary's Parish Church
St Mary’s dates from 1147, and contains many rare features of architectural value – including exceptionally precious examples of Medieval wall paintings telling the story of St Catherine, a medieval piscina, and one of the few surviving Elizabethan alms boxes.
At St Mary’s church we have committed ourselves to work with the other churches in the town to make the love of God known in Burton Latimer.
We build on firm foundations, as people have worshipped on our site since Norman times – and probably, for considerably longer than that. But our concern is for the current community in Burton, so if you would like to explore how the life of faith can be meaningful in the 21st Century we would love to welcome you.
Our main Sunday service is a 10am celebration of the Eucharist (Holy Communion). We have a Junior Church and a crèche, so children are particularly welcome – as are people of all ages.

St Nicholas Owen RC Church
The Roman Catholic church of St. Nicholas Owen has been part of Burton Latimer’s community since 1972.

Burton Latimer Methodist Church
Methodism has been represented in Burton Latimer for nearly 200 years, and we have been worshiping in our current building since 1890.
We are a small church, but we are strong in the things we believe are important. You will be assured of a very warm welcome and be pleasantly surprised by the quality of our worship and fellowship. We support and work with the other denominations in the town, and together arrange and attend various ecumenical events.

Burton Latimer Baptist Church
Burton Latimer Baptist Church has been part of the community of the town for over 250 years. The original Meeting House in Meeting Lane – hence the name – was built in 1744 and although much altered in the nineteenth century is still our place of worship every Sunday.
A new suite of buildings incorporating the John Yeoman’s Hall situated across from the chapel provides a modern facility for many of the activities of the church as well as other groups in the town. The church stands in the evangelical tradition with biblical preaching and good music. In many of its activities the church tries to serve the needs of the community.
