Improve your health, feel better – and meet new people on one of our short walks! We meet at 10am every Tuesday morning and 2pm on Wednesday afternoons, and the walks take about 45-60 minutes on surrounding pathways. Refreshments are available at the Library afterwards.

There are five local groups in Northamptonshire affiliated to The Ramblers: Kettering; Wellingborough; Northampton; Daventry; and Northants 20s-40s Ramblers.
Local groups organise regular walks led by local experts – a great way to get outside, make new friends and discover how walking boosts your health and happiness.

The Castle Theatre, Wellingborough
The International Wændel Walk offers a long weekend of walking, with a choice of way-marked routes from 5, 10, 15, 25 and 42km for walkers of all ages and abilities. All routes travel across fields, footpaths and roads, whilst visiting places of interest and local villages in and around Wellingborough.
The annual event (which first took place in 1979) is held in May at The Castle Theatre Wellingborough, and a host of free entertainment will be provided during the weekend.
