Improve your health, feel better - and meet new people on one of our short walks! We meet every Tuesday morning, and the walks take about 45-60 minutes on surrounding pathways. Monthly farmers market
9am - 1pm, Millennium Garden, High Street, Burton Latimer
Stalls selling fruit and vegetables, local farm meat, free range eggs and speciality cheeses. The Friends of St Mary's Church will have a stall selling tea, coffee, hot chocolate and cakes. The Royal British Legion Women’s Section will have a tombola stall at the market - and our local councillors will also be there to meet people and answer questions.

Coffee morning
9.30am - 12noon, the Guiding Centre, Alexandra Street, Burton Latimer
The guides will be holding their monthly coffee morning today - this time, hosted by the Trefoil Guild. Bacon butties, cakes, tea and coffee will be for sale, and there will be a seasonal flavour to the morning - with a display of Christmas Trees, and stalls selling festive items. All proceeds go towards the upkeep and maintenance of the Centre, which is used most evenings during term time by Rainbows, Brownies and Guides.

Music for the Mind
1.30pm - 2.30pm, Burton Latimer Library, High Street, Burton Latimer
Burton Latimer Library is running a session this afternoon to help with brain function. The programme is suitable for people with dementia, those with language or learning difficulties - or individuals just wanting to improve their brain function. In a friendly and stimulating social environment, we will be singing along to some of the greatest hits of the 1940s and 1950s to stimulate the brain. Light refreshments will be provided, courtesy of Subway, Burton Latimer. The session is free - but places are limited, so booking is essential.
