Even if you're not a knitter, you are still welcome to come along for a natter and to enjoy some good company! Learners are also welcome - as are teenagers during school holidays. The cost is £1.50, including refreshments.

An Evening of Song at the libary

The multi-award winning ladies choir The Songbirds will be performing a concert featuring classic and modern choral arrangements, and solo performances. Tickets cost £10 (for adults, including a glass of Buck's Fizz) and £5 fro children. Other refreshments will also be available.

Stalls selling fruit and vegetables, local farm meat, free range eggs and speciality cheeses. The Friends of St Mary's Church will have a stall selling tea, coffee, hot chocolate and cakes - together with books and CDs. If you have unwanted books or CDs in saleable condition, you can donate them at the market.

The Guides will be holding their monthly coffee morning today - this time, hosted by the 3rd Burton Latimer Rainbows. Bacon butties, cakes, tea and coffee will be for sale. All proceeds go towards the upkeep and maintenance of the Centre, which is used most evenings during term time by Rainbows, Brownies and Guides.
